The 2010 Toyota Highlander is a mid-size crossover SUV with seven passenger capacity. Toyota sells the Highlander in three different trim levels; base, Sport and Limited. Some standard features of the base model Highlander are; a folding third row seat, air conditioning, and a tilt steering wheel.
The Sport trim level for the Highlander features 19 inch wheels, a sport suspension, fog lights, a 3.5 inch information display screen, a backup camera, a power driver seat, a leather steering wheel and one touch folding capability for the second row seats.
The Limited trim comes with power and heated mirrors, an auto dimming rear view mirror, leather seating, power seats, dual climate control, keyless entry and ignition and wood grain interior trim.
The Highlander comes standard with a 3.5 liter V6 rated at 270 hp and 248 lb ft. of torque. In speed tests, the Highlander went 0 to 60 mph in 7.8 seconds, making it one of the fastest SUVs on the market.
The Toyota Highlander gets an estimated fuel consumption of 18 mpg city and 24 mpg highway.
